I*mKanfing. I’m a proud Guinean woman working as a nursing assistant in the NHS. But that’s not all that I am. I’m an artist, a mother, a daughter, and a proud African, full of colourful life experiences that have shaped who I am today.

Being from two worlds is a privilege and a source of strength. It grounds and humbles me, and has taught me to never look at life from one perspective. My heritage has shown me firsthand how to celebrate different cultures and religions, while my travels have taught me how to lead with acceptance and compassion.

I’m making a world difference by providing healthcare in Manchester, and sending money back home to help pay for my mum’s care in Conakry.
